How to cast IPTV to your Chromecast
Casting IPTV from a PC often fails on format support or subtitle sync. This guide shows how IPTV Player One casts live TV, movies, and series to your Chromecast in six steps.

Casting IPTV from a computer to a TV sounds simple, but it often disappoints. A Chromecast plays a limited set of video and audio formats on its own, so many streams end in a black screen or an error message. And when a stream does start, subtitles tend to drift out of sync or vanish entirely.
IPTV Player One is built to fix exactly that. The Windows app casts live TV, movies, and series to a Chromecast or Google TV, lets you choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast itself, and keeps subtitles in sync. You stay in control from your PC: pause, seek, and volume all work while the stream plays on the TV.
One thing to know up front: IPTV Player One is a player only. It contains no channels, content, or subscriptions. You bring your own playlist from a legal source, as an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login.
Requirements
- A PC with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and IPTV Player One installed. New to the app? The Windows installation guide covers setup from download to first playback.
- A Chromecast or Google TV on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
- Your own playlist as an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login.
- No account. The free trial runs 14 days and starts the first time you play something.
Troubleshooting
No Chromecast found
Check that your PC and your Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network. A PC on a wired connection must be plugged into the same router that the Chromecast uses. Also look at your router settings: guest networks and AP or client isolation stop devices from seeing each other. Move both devices to the same regular network and search again.
The channel plays on your PC but not on the TV
Try the HD variant of the channel if your playlist offers one. Some Chromecast models cannot handle 4K or HEVC, so a lower resolution version of the same channel often plays without trouble.
Subtitles running ahead or behind? Read the guide on fixing IPTV subtitles that are out of sync. Curious what else casting can do? See the Chromecast IPTV player page. And if you get stuck, support usually replies within a day.
How it works
- 1
Install IPTV Player One on Windows
Get the app from the [download page](/download/) and install it on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Add your own playlist with an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login.
- 2
Put your PC and Chromecast on the same network
Your Chromecast or Google TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Casting does not work across separate networks.
- 3
Play a channel, movie, or episode
Start playback in the app. The first time you play something, your free 14-day trial starts. No account is needed.
- 4
Click the cast icon and pick your Chromecast
Click the cast icon in the player and choose your Chromecast or Google TV from the list. The stream moves to your TV.
- 5
Choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast
While casting, pick the subtitle and the audio track you want. Both apply on the cast itself, and subtitles stay in sync.
- 6
Control everything from your PC
Pause, seek, and adjust the volume from the app on your PC while the stream keeps playing on your TV.
