Install IPTV Player One on Windows 10 or 11

From installer or Microsoft Store to your first channel in a few minutes. This guide covers installing the app on Windows 10 or 11, adding your M3U or Xtream Codes playlist, starting the free 14-day trial and activating your PC when you decide to keep it.

Troubleshooting

My playlist does not load

Check the playlist link first: copy it exactly as your provider sent it, with no extra spaces at the start or end. If you use an M3U URL that contains get.php and it will not load, some providers block that type of direct link. In that case try the Xtream Codes login option with the same server address, username and password. Not sure which format you have? Read M3U vs Xtream Codes.

No Chromecast or Android TV found

Your PC and your Chromecast, Google TV or Android TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. If they are and the cast icon still finds nothing, check your router settings: client isolation, sometimes called AP isolation, stops devices from seeing each other and is often enabled on guest networks. Connect both devices to your main network and try again. Separate VLANs and other known cases are covered in known issues and fixes.

Subtitles are out of sync

While casting you pick the subtitle and audio track on the cast and they stay in sync. Drifting or mistimed subtitles in general, for example in a downloaded .srt, are covered in the guide on IPTV subtitles that are out of sync.

Rather not cast at all? On an Apple TV, an Android TV or a Google TV the app runs on the television itself, so there is nothing to send from your PC. Those apps are sold as a subscription in the App Store or Google Play, separately from your Windows license.

Still stuck? Open a ticket in the supportdesk and you will usually get a reply within a day. For common questions about the trial, pricing and activation, see the FAQ.

Installing on another device too? See the macOS guide or the iPhone and iPad guide, or browse all guides.

How it works

  1. 1

    Download the installer

Get the latest installer for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) from the download page. The download page always has the latest version. Prefer the Microsoft Store? The app is in the Microsoft Store too. Installing from there skips step 2; everything from step 3 on is the same.

  2. 2

    Run the installer

Double-click the downloaded file. The installer is digitally signed; if Windows SmartScreen still shows a warning while the signature builds up its reputation, click More info, then Run anyway, and follow the setup steps. Prefer to avoid the warning altogether? Install from the Microsoft Store instead (step 1). More on this in known issues and fixes.

  3. 3

    Open IPTV Player One

Start the app from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. From here on the app keeps itself up to date in the background, so you never need to download an installer again. You can switch between a dark and a light theme and use the app in 22 languages.

  4. 4

    Add your playlist

Choose an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login and enter the details from your provider. Stalker and MAC portals are not supported. IPTV Player One is a player only: it contains no channels, content or subscriptions, so you bring your own legal sources. You can add more playlists later, each with its own cache.

  5. 5

    Start watching

Browse live TV, movies and series, organized in groups, with search and favorites. Your free 14-day trial starts the first time you play something: no account, no payment details, nothing to cancel.

  6. 6

    Activate your device

To keep watching after the trial, buy a license from us: $5.95 for a year or $9.95 once for lifetime use, per PC, with no automatic renewal. The app shows a device code and a QR code. Go to iptvplayerone.com/koppelen, enter the short code or scan the QR code, and this PC is activated. The pricing page compares this with the store subscriptions.

  7. 7

    Cast to your TV

Make sure your Chromecast (also called Google Cast), Google TV or Android TV is on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Start playback, click the cast icon and pick your device. You choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast, and subtitles stay in sync.

Frequently asked questions

I bought the Windows license. Does it work on my Apple TV or Android TV?

No. A Windows license is a one-time purchase that belongs to one PC. The Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV apps are sold as a subscription in the App Store or Google Play, and that subscription follows your Apple Account or your Google account, not your PC. See the pricing page.

Should I install from the Microsoft Store or from the download page?

Both give you the same app, the same 14-day trial and the same device code for activation. From the Store you skip the installer and the SmartScreen step; everything from step 3 on is identical.
