Install IPTV Player One on Windows
From download to casting on your TV in a few minutes. This guide covers installing the app on Windows 10 or 11, adding your playlist, and starting your free trial.
Troubleshooting
My playlist does not load
Check the playlist link first: copy it exactly as your provider sent it, with no extra spaces at the start or end. If you use an M3U URL that contains get.php and it will not load, some providers block that type of direct link. In that case try the Xtream Codes login option with the same server address, username and password. Not sure which format you have? Read M3U vs Xtream Codes.
No Chromecast found
Your PC and your Chromecast or Google TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. If they are and the cast icon still finds nothing, check your router settings: client isolation, sometimes called AP isolation, stops devices from seeing each other and is often enabled on guest networks. Connect both devices to your main network and try again.
Subtitles
While casting, you pick the subtitle and audio track on the cast itself, straight from IPTV Player One, and subtitles stay in sync with the video. If you are struggling with drifting or mistimed subtitles in general, read the guide on IPTV subtitles that are out of sync.

How it works
- 1
Download the installer
Get the latest installer for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) from the download page. The download page always has the latest version. Prefer the Microsoft Store? The app is in the Store too; installing from there skips the steps below.
- 2
Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded file. The installer is digitally signed; if Windows SmartScreen still shows a warning while the signature builds up its reputation, click More info, then Run anyway, and follow the setup steps.
- 3
Open IPTV Player One
Start the app from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. You can switch between a dark and a light theme, and use the app in 20 languages.
- 4
Add your playlist
Choose an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login and enter the details from your provider. IPTV Player One is a player only: it contains no channels, content or subscriptions, so you bring your own legal sources. You can add more playlists later, each with its own cache.
- 5
Start watching
Browse live TV, movies and series, organized in groups, with search and favorites. Your free 14-day trial starts the first time you play something. No account needed.
- 6
Activate your device
To keep watching after the trial, buy a license and link this PC. The app shows a device code and a QR code. Go to iptvplayerone.com/koppelen, enter the short code or scan the QR code, and your device is activated.
- 7
Cast to your TV
Make sure your Chromecast or Google TV is on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Start playback, click the cast icon, and pick your device. You choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast, and subtitles stay in sync.
