Privacy statement

What we store

For activation we store a device code, a hashed device key, and your activation status (trial, active or expired). The device code is not a name or an email address: on Windows and Android it is derived from a device characteristic and stored hashed, and elsewhere it is generated by the app itself. Your playlist stays in the app on your own computer and is never sent to our servers, so we cannot see your playlist or passwords.

Your account (optional)

If you create an account, it lives on a separate server of ours within the European Union. There we keep a customer number, how you sign in (an Apple or Google identifier, or a value derived from your recovery code; never a password), the devices you pair (name, platform, app version, last seen), your license and your payments. We do not know your recovery code itself, and we do not ask for an email address.

Your playlists sit in a vault: the address, username and password are stored encrypted. To put them on a new device as soon as you sign in, we also keep the key to your vault, encrypted with a key of our server. We use it only to send your playlists to your own devices. Your watch progress, favorites and settings are stored encrypted on our server, so they can be sent to your other devices.

An account that has not been used for twelve months and has no running license is deleted. You can delete it yourself at any time at account.iptvplayerone.com: everything goes immediately, except payment records we are required to keep for tax purposes.

Purchases

If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, we store which subscription you bought and until when it is valid, together with the purchase token the store gives us and the account identifier the store passes on. We use those to check with Apple or Google that the subscription is real and still running. The payment itself runs through Apple or Google and we never see your payment details. We cannot identify you from any of these.

What we do not do

We use no advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites. Google Analytics statistics run only if you allow them in the cookie banner. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Activation data is removed after twelve months of inactivity. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Where it is stored and your rights

Data is stored on a server within the European Union. You have the right to see, correct or delete your data. Open a ticket in the supportdesk for any request.
