Download for macOS

The Mac version comes in two downloads. Pick the one that matches your Mac:

Not sure which one you have? Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. If it shows an Apple chip (M1 or newer), take the Apple Silicon download. If it shows an Intel processor, take the Intel download.

Both downloads are dmg files. The app is ad-hoc signed and does not have Apple notarization yet, so the first time you open it macOS will refuse a normal double click. Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose Open, and confirm. You only need to do this once. The macOS installation guide walks through every step, from picking the right download to casting.

The same player, built for macOS

The Mac version is the same player as on Windows, not a stripped-down port:

  • Cast live TV, movies and series to Chromecast and Google TV, choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast itself, and keep subtitles in sync.
  • Load your playlist with an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login.
  • Try everything free for 14 days, starting the first time you play something, with the same per-device prices as on Windows.
  • Use the app in 22 languages, all fully translated.

Good to know: movies and series play on macOS through the built-in web player with an ffmpeg fallback, with an adjustable audio sync in the player. Text subtitles work, but image-based subtitles (PGS and DVD) do not play locally on macOS yet.

As on Windows, the Mac version is a player only. It ships with no channels, content or subscriptions: you bring your own legal sources.

Also available on Windows

The Windows version runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and comes with the same 14 day free trial that starts at your first playback, no account needed.

Frequently asked questions

What can the Mac version do?

It is the same app as on Windows: load your own M3U or Xtream Codes playlist, watch live TV, movies and series, cast to Chromecast with synced subtitles, and try everything free for 14 days from your first playback. Movies and series play through the built-in web player with an ffmpeg fallback, with an adjustable audio sync in the player. Text subtitles work; image-based subtitles (PGS and DVD) do not play locally on macOS yet.

Will my license work on Mac too?

A license bought from us is per device and costs the same on macOS as on Windows: $5.95 per year or $9.95 once for lifetime. In the Mac App Store it is a subscription with Apple instead, $5.99 per year or $1.49 per month, which renews until you cancel it and covers your whole Apple account. Your Mac counts as its own device and needs its own license, but you try the app free for 14 days first. Questions about your situation? Open a ticket in our supportdesk and we usually reply within a day.

How do I open the app the first time?

The app is ad-hoc signed and does not have Apple notarization yet, so macOS blocks a normal double click the first time. Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose Open, and confirm that you want to open it. You only need to do this once, after that the app opens normally.

Do I get updates?

Yes. The app checks for new versions itself and updates quietly; the installation completes when you quit. No need to download anything again.

IPTV Player One contains no channels, content or subscriptions. It is a media player for playlists you legally own or are licensed to use. Using it for pirated content is not permitted.
