IPTV PLAYER ONE Download

Install IPTV Player One on your Mac

IPTV Player One for Mac comes from the Mac App Store, the same listing as the iPhone and Apple TV apps. This guide covers install to your first playlist and the free 14-day trial.

Troubleshooting

No Chromecast or Android TV found

This is nearly always the Local Network permission. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Local Network, and turn the switch for IPTV Player One on. Already on? Toggle it off and on again and restart the app: after an app update macOS can silently lose this permission even though the switch still looks enabled. Also check that your Mac and your Chromecast or Android TV are on the same Wi-Fi network; guest networks and client isolation stop devices from seeing each other. More casting help is in the known issues guide.

My playlist does not load

Copy the playlist link exactly as your provider sent it, with no extra spaces. If an M3U URL containing get.php will not load, some providers block that type of direct link; try the Xtream Codes login option with the same server address, username and password instead. Not sure which format you have? Read M3U vs Xtream Codes.

Subtitles

Text subtitles work locally and while casting: you pick the subtitle and audio track on the cast itself and subtitles stay in sync. If subtitles drift on a particular channel, read the guide on IPTV subtitles that are out of sync.

Watching on another device too? See the Windows guide or the iPhone and iPad guide. Your App Store subscription also works on your Apple TV with the same Apple Account. Still stuck? Open a ticket in the supportdesk and you will usually get a reply within a day.

How it works

  1. 1

Install from the Mac App Store

Open the Mac App Store on your Mac, search for IPTV Player One and click Get. It installs like any other Mac app and opens with a normal double click. It needs macOS 13.3 or newer and runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

  2. 2

    Add your playlist

Choose an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login and enter the details from your provider. IPTV Player One is a player only: it contains no channels, content or subscriptions, so you bring your own legal sources. Stalker and MAC portals are not supported. You can add more playlists later, each with its own library.

  3. 3

    Start watching

Browse live TV, movies and series, organized in groups, with search and favourites. Your free 14-day trial starts the first time you play something, not when you install. No account needed.

  4. 4

    Cast to your TV

Put your Mac and your Chromecast (also called Google Cast), Google TV or Android TV on the same Wi-Fi network, start playback, click the cast icon and pick your device. You choose the subtitle and audio track on the cast itself. The first time, macOS may ask whether the app may use the local network; allow it, or the app cannot see your TV.

  5. 5

    Keep watching after the trial

Subscribe inside the app, per year or per month with Apple. It renews until you cancel and it covers your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV on the same Apple Account, with no device code needed. See the pricing page for the amounts.
