What's new in IPTV Player One
Every update, in plain language: what you will notice, per platform. Windows updates itself, and on Fire TV the app installs a new version with one press. On the Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, Android TV and Google TV the update comes through the App Store or Google Play.
Fire TV 1.0.68
October 9, 2026- Searching with the remote works the way you expect: after typing, one press down takes you straight to the first channel, movie or series.
- The keyboard no longer gets stuck, and the search bar lines up with the menu on the left.
- Your account in the app is clearer: your profile, plan and devices on one page.
Windows 1.3.310
October 8, 2026- Your account at a glance. At the top of Settings you now see a tile with your initial in your own colour. A small check mark shows everything is in sync, a spinning arrow that it is syncing now, and an exclamation mark if it did not work for a moment. Next to your name you can see whether you have Pro or are on your trial.
- Subscription only shows up in the menu when there is something to do: during your trial (with a ring counting down the days), when your subscription has expired, or when your yearly subscription is about to end. You can always find it under Your account.
- The account itself is new too: you get an account automatically, you choose between Starter (2 devices) and Pro (8 devices), and your recovery code always gets you back into your account. Your playlists, favorites and where you left off stay the same on every device.
Android 1.0.60
October 5, 2026- Scanning or typing the code of a TV with an older version of the app works again: your playlist goes straight to the TV.
- A shorter welcome screen on TV and tablet.

Windows 1.3.296
October 2, 2026- On live TV the player now shows the picture quality, frames per second and audio, for example "1080p · 50 fps · AAC 2.0". The TV guide shows what was measured for that channel last time.
- New in the TV guide: a silent preview when you rest on a channel. Only for subscriptions with more than one connection; turn it on under Settings, General.
- Removing a series from Continue watching now removes it from your other devices too.
- The Top 10 recognises titles from providers that put the language in front, such as "| NL | The Ark", and picks the version in your language. Titles no longer show stray bars.
- Posters that don't load right away are retried.
Windows 1.3.295
October 2, 2026- Movies and series from providers that put the language at the end of a category, such as "Drama [NL]", are now recognised correctly. Your home screen rows and the groups menu show them under the right language again.
- If your provider temporarily refuses (for example a Cloudflare message), the app no longer keeps knocking. It leaves the provider alone for a few minutes, even after a restart. If you switch playlists in the meantime, you'll see how long it still takes.

Windows 1.3.277
September 29, 2026- Sign in with your account: your progress, favorites, settings and playlists stay the same as on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
- Your groups always sit in a column next to the list, even in a narrow window.
- Live TV: zap with the up and down arrows or Page Up and Page Down, plus buttons for the previous and next channel.
- Click the picture to turn fullscreen on or off.
- TV guide: after watching you are back in the same spot, and there is a button to refresh the guide.
- Subtitles no longer turn on by themselves. Settings decides whether a movie starts with subtitles; a choice made while watching only applies to that movie.
- After a shaky connection your subtitle and audio track stay as you set them.
