AirPlay is built into the iPhone and iPad app
Most IPTV players on iPhone only cast to a Chromecast or a similar Google Cast device. IPTV Player One does that too, but the iPhone and iPad app also sends playback over AirPlay, Apple’s own screen and media sharing technology. If your TV or speaker has an AirPlay 2 badge, or if you already have an Apple TV, you can send live TV, movies and series to it directly from Control Center or from the player itself, with subtitle and audio track choice carried over.
What you need
An iPhone or iPad with iOS 16.4 or newer, and an Apple TV or a TV or speaker with AirPlay 2 support, on the same Wi-Fi network. AirPlay 2 support shows up as a badge in a TV’s marketing material or as an AirPlay icon in its settings; it is common on recent Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio smart TVs, alongside HomePod and other AirPlay speakers for audio. Bring your own playlist as an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login: IPTV Player One is a player only and includes no channels, content or subscriptions.
AirPlay or Chromecast: use whichever matches your TV
AirPlay and Chromecast (also called Google Cast) solve the same problem for two different device families. AirPlay is Apple’s technology, built into every iPhone and iPad, and reaches an Apple TV or an AirPlay 2 TV or speaker. Chromecast reaches a Chromecast, a Google TV or an Android TV, and on IPTV Player One it works from Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone and iPad alike. Because the iPhone and iPad app supports both, you are not locked into one device family: pick whichever matches the TV in front of you. One route this app does not need at all: if your television is itself an Apple TV, the Apple TV app runs natively on it, with the same playlist, TV guide and parental lock, built for the Siri Remote. AirPlay is there for the times you want to send something over quickly without switching to the TV itself, or when the TV or speaker on hand is not an Apple TV but does carry AirPlay 2.
Not available on the Mac app
AirPlay video is only in the iPhone and iPad app. The Mac app cannot send video over AirPlay: Apple does not open that route to the kind of app the Mac version is built as. From a Mac, casting to a Chromecast, a Google TV or an Android TV is the way to reach a TV; see the Chromecast page for that.

Does AirPlay work with Android TV or Google TV?
