IPTV Player One for Fire TV

Why not the Amazon Appstore

IPTV Player One is not in the Amazon Appstore, and you do not need it to be. The app comes from our own site as an APK, the standard Android installation file, and the free Downloader app by AFTVnews puts it on your Fire TV. Downloader is in the Appstore, so that is the only thing you install from Amazon.

In short: install Downloader, allow it to install apps in the settings of your Fire TV, open it and type the code 7797698. Downloader fetches IPTV Player One from iptvplayerone.com and installs it. Prefer typing an address? Enter iptvplayerone.com/fire in Downloader and you get the same file.

Which Fire TV devices work, and which do not

The app needs Fire OS 6 or newer. That covers the Fire TV Stick from the 2nd generation on, the Fire TV Stick Lite, the Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max, the Fire TV Cube and Fire TV smart TVs that run Fire OS. You find your version under Settings, My Fire TV, About.

It does not work on devices with Vega OS, Amazon’s newer system: the Fire TV Stick 4K Select from 2025 and the Fire TV Stick HD from 2026. Vega OS installs nothing from outside the Appstore, so no app installed with Downloader runs there, ours included. It does not work on Fire OS 5 either, which is too old. We would rather say so here than let you find out after buying a stick.

Your own playlist: M3U or Xtream Codes

Enter the M3U link, or the server address, username and password of your Xtream Codes account, exactly as your provider sent them. Stalker and MAC portals are not supported.

IPTV Player One is a player only. It contains no channels, content or subscriptions, so you bring your own playlist from a legal source, as an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login.

What the app does on the TV

It is the same app as on Android TV and Google TV, with a layout made for the remote. Live TV is sorted by group and by country, and search covers your whole playlist. Movies and series remember where you stopped. You arrange the home screen yourself, the TV guide shows now and next, and favourites are kept apart for live TV, movies, series and radio. The parental lock puts groups behind a PIN.

The app plays .mkv and HEVC, and 4K on a Fire TV Stick 4K, 4K Max or Fire TV Cube. You pick the audio track and the subtitle track, set the subtitle size, and correct lip sync when a stream needs it.

Paying: on your phone, not on the TV

The first 14 days are free, from the first time you open the app, with no account and no payment details.

After that, the app shows a QR code on the TV. Scan it with your phone and pay on our website: $5.99 for one year, as a single payment that does not renew. Updates without Downloader

You only need Downloader once. When a new version is out, IPTV Player One tells you and installs it after one press. The first time, Fire OS asks whether IPTV Player One may install apps: allow it, and later updates go through by themselves.
